What is Memorii Studio?
Memorii Studio is an Australian custom pet portrait business founded by Ian Burke. We create premium, museum-quality wall art from your pet photos — dogs, cats, horses, and more. Every portrait is handcrafted by real artists, printed on museum-quality canvas, and shipped anywhere in Australia. We were built on one belief: your pets deserve more than a photo buried on your phone.
What kinds of pets can you create portraits of?
Memorii Studio creates custom portraits of dogs, cats, and horses. If you have a different animal you'd like to turn into a portrait, contact us and we'll let you know if we can help.
What art styles does Memorii Studio offer?
We offer three art styles — Modern Illustration, Vector-Style Illustration, and Watercolour. Modern Illustration is our most popular and works for almost any pet. Vector-Style suits pets with bold, simple shapes and short fur. Watercolour is our most emotional style and is ideal for memorial portraits or sentimental gifts. Not sure which to choose? We recommend one based on your photo.
Are your portraits painted by real artists or generated by AI?
Every portrait at Memorii Studio is handcrafted by real artists using a refined illustration process. We use your photo as a reference to create original artwork — not a filter, not an AI generator. The result is a genuine piece of art that looks beautiful on your wall.
What sizes are available?
Memorii Studio portraits are available in three sizes: 30 x 40 cm, 40 x 50 cm, and 50 x 70 cm. All sizes are printed on premium museum-quality canvas and arrive ready to hang.
Ordering & Process
How do I order a custom pet portrait from Memorii Studio?
Ordering is simple. Choose your pet type, select your size and number of pets, then add to cart. At checkout you'll upload your favourite photo. Our artists then create your custom portrait and send you a digital proof by email within 5–7 business days. You approve it — or request minor revisions — and we print and ship once you're happy.
How long does a custom pet portrait take?
Memorii Studio typically delivers your digital proof within 5–7 business days of receiving your order and photo. Once you approve the proof, printing and shipping adds a few additional days depending on your location in Australia. You'll be kept informed throughout the process.
Can I order a portrait with two pets?
Yes — we offer 2-pet portraits across all our products. Both animals should be clearly visible in the photo. Our artists will balance both pets naturally in the final design. Select "2 Pets" when choosing your options at checkout.
What if I'm not happy with my portrait?
You'll see a full digital proof before anything is printed. If something isn't right, let us know and we'll revise it. Minor revisions are included at no extra cost. We don't print until you're completely happy — that's the Memorii Studio guarantee.
Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes. Once artwork has been created and approved, we're unable to cancel as the portrait is made to order specifically for you.
Photos
What makes a good photo for a pet portrait?
For the best custom pet portrait result, your photo should be high resolution, well lit with natural daylight, and show your pet's face and key features clearly. Avoid dark, blurry, or heavily shadowed photos. One subject per photo works best unless you're ordering a 2-pet portrait.
What if my photo isn't good enough?
Don't worry — upload your photo and we'll assess it before starting your portrait. If we need something better, we'll contact you by email before we begin. We'd rather take the extra step than deliver anything less than perfect.
Can I use an old photo of a pet that has passed away?
Absolutely. Many of our customers order memorial portraits to honour a pet they've lost. Older photos can work well — just upload what you have and we'll let you know if we need anything else. For memorial portraits we recommend our Watercolour style, which has a soft, gentle quality that suits the emotional nature of these pieces.

What is the portrait printed on?
All Memorii Studio portraits are printed on premium museum-quality canvas. Every canvas arrives ready to hang — no additional framing required.
Does Memorii Studio ship across Australia?
Yes — we ship to all states and territories across Australia, including New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, the ACT, and the Northern Territory.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping timeframes vary depending on your location in Australia. Once your portrait is approved and sent to print, delivery typically takes a few business days. You'll receive tracking information once your order has shipped.
